Hi There Beautiful. I’m so glad you are here!
My name is Nakisha and I am here to help, heal and serve. This is my purpose. This is my truth. It gets expressed in many ways!
I am a teacher, ceo, health coach, and motivator. But most importantly, I am a Jesus follower and child of God. All the pleasures in my life and all the lessons I can teach would be meaningless without the unending love that is freely given and I fully receive from the Triune God.
The Formal Bio
Nakisha is a decorated US Army veteran, certified Holistic Health Coach, retired Realtor, lay leader, eccentric nutritionist, Ceo and Co-Founder of Entoto Gear, where she uses fashion to create relief and economic opportunity for women in Ethiopia.
Nakisha has a passion for helping women to thrive in every area of their lives and in every season of their life. She home-schools their growing family and has successfully graduated one of their five daughters. Nakisha has been married to her soul mate, Ramon for over 20 years.
She is an advocate for the disabled community as she is nurturing two daughters with special needs; one with cerebral palsy and one with autism. Her advocacy led her to start a nonprofit, FLOH Nation which serves as a for-purpose organization that uplifts the disabled and the disadvantaged.
Nakisha has served in various volunteer capacities working with the Nashville Rescue Mission, Ordinary Hero, Luila Village and as a lay leader at Bethel World Outreach Center, where she co-leads the special needs ministry, Freedom.
That was the formal stuff. Here’s the juicy juice!
I’m a flawed girl from a little town called Florida City, this is south of Miami, yes, there is more to see, do and taste beyond South Beach!
On Ramon & I: I’ve been married over 20 years. We met as soldiers in Killeen, TX. It was hot and heavy; we married in 3 months. Yes, you read that right, 3 months. We’ve survived some really hard stuff together. We’ve now been thriving together longer than we’ve been apart and that is pretty darn awesome!
On being a mom: I am birth mom to five daughters; I specialize in girls! All beautiful. All unique. One with Cerebral Palsy. One with Autism. I am God-Mom to several children in Ethiopia. I NOW celebrate motherhood, this wasn’t always the case. We homeschool and I NOW love it; this again wasn’t always the case. I am wildly passionate about ensuring they recognize their God-given talents, passions and abilities and I pray they will use their uniqueness to impact the world.
On Me: I am a follower of Jesus Christ incase the intro wasn’t clear on that *wink*. I’m always SUPER busy; wouldn’t have it any other way. I believe in harmony as way to level out the fullness of my life. I NOW thrive in this life I have been given, for a season this was not the case. I am compelled by love. The love God has lavished on me on pour onto others!
On Being Human: We all want to live a wildly successful life. But in all our earthly enjoyment, we have to remember to first find the deepest joy in Jesus. It’s not easy at first and I falter more than I care to admit but I know that in Him is where ultimate satisfaction is complete; it is where wholeness can be found.
